Summer is here and Colorado Springs is bustling! If you’re a resident and you’re looking for something to do, here’s a list of awesome fun this weekend. If you’re from out of town, be sure to check out these activities and more from our great city!
Garden of the Gods Sunset Tour

Of course, every Colorado Springs resident has been to Garden of the Gods. It is our city’s most prized natural treasure. However, the Sunset Tour allows guests to see the spectacle in a new light. Tour the sights of Garden of the Gods with guide Prairie Dog, as he takes you through the history and the wonder of these beautiful rock formations. The tours run every Friday and Saturday through September 26th, so be sure to go by then. Better yet, the tour only costs $21 and the value is priceless. Just one more note, the tour is only available for ages 21 and older.
Old Colorado City Farmer’s Market

Right next to Garden of the Gods is Old Colorado City, a great place to visit for activities that cannot really be found on the North side of town. This Saturday June 6th, the Old Colorado City Farmer’s Market begins. Forget going to the grocery store and overpaying for substandard produce. The farmer’s market helps support our local growers and it allows Colorado Springs residents the chance to get their hands on some high quality fruits and vegetables. After stopping at the Farmer’s Market, be sure to check out all of the other amenities located in Old Colorado City, especially their awesome and unique restaurants. The Old Colorado City Farmer’s Market opens at 7am this Saturday and runs every Saturday until October 31st.
Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Presents Guys and Dolls

Come see the famed play Guys & Dolls, the musical extravaganza by Abe Burrows and Jo Swerling, as performed by some of Colorado Springs’ best local actors. The arts are growing and beginning to thrive here in Colorado Springs, and supporting the Fine Arts Center goes a long way towards ensuring our art explosion continues. Guys & Dolls runs only until June 14th, so be sure to see it soon! The Fine Arts Center has shows Thursday through Sunday, and tickets start at $20. Don’t miss out on this great musical comedy!
Ringling Bros & Barnum and Bailey Circus at the Broadmoor World Arena
Come one, come all to the Broadmoor World Arena this weekend! The Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus have long been staples of American tradition. Now, their family fun act is in the Colorado Springs area. Gather up the family and take them to see this high-flying spectacle! The Circus will take place from June 4th to the 7th, so hurry and get yourself some seats! Tickets start at just $13 and it is surely an event that the entire family will enjoy.
